About Us

Rebecca Lapres
Principal

Upon completion of a BFA at the University of Victoria followed by a session of Post Graduate study at the Banff Center, Rebecca left Canada for three years, travelling throughout Europe, the Middle East and North Africa. Her aesthetic, strongly influenced by the Mediterranean vernacular, is expressed in her use of bold, simple form, earth toned colours and rich texture. Preferring residential interiors, Rebecca’s work is imbued with a traditional, elegant domesticity.

After completing a degree in Interior Design at Kwantlen University College, Andrea began her career at a small firm specializing in corporate/high-tech interiors. In 1999 she moved to London, England, during which time she worked pro bono developing a community treatment clinic in Zimbabwe for HIV/Aids patients. Upon her return to Canada, Andrea advanced to the position of senior designer while working for a local firm specializing in high-end residential and multi family design. Andrea has been credited as part of the design team on many projects receiving IDI, UDI, Georgie awards, and a Seattle DA award. In addition to working full time for Riesco & Lapres, Andrea also teaches design theory and graphic presentation at a local college.
